Effects of TRD, TRAIL and combination of both agents on proliferation were measured by BrdU cell proliferation-assay. Cells were incubated for 8 h with Povidon 5% + H₂O (control) (a), 50 ng/ml TRAIL (b), 250 μmol/l TRD (c) and a combination of TRD/TRAIL (d). A blank negative control (e) was used to document absence of proliferation.
